Art Elements:
Line- art defined by a point moving in space. leads your eye from one point to another.
Shape- created when two or more lines come together to for a shape, either geometrical or organic
Value- the amount of difference between dark and light two or more colors used in a piece
Form- three dimensional shapes with length, width and depth
Space- the area between and around objects that changes our view of that object
Color- defines and differentiates all of the other art elements.
Texture- the feeling and looks of the surface of a creation. either rough or smooth and is often implied like when something in a piece of paper looks to be rough but is really as smooth as the paper is.

Contrast- when two elements are put together and seem to clash but in a nice way that makes it more interesting to look at.
Movement- the way a piece distracts the viewers eye toward an area of emphasis.
Emphasis- a place or point in an art piece that the eye is attracted to through the use of color, lines, or textures
Pattern- the repetition of shape, color or design through a creation.
Rhythm- repetition of pattern to make one expect when the pattern will continue.
Proportion- when the shapes and sizes of elements in a project come together harmoniously.
Scale- when the size goes from small to large or when it goes from large to small.
Unity and harmony- when different design and art elements come together in a way that is harmonious or that causes a feeling of discomfort. it depends on the artist.
